What’s the best part of living in New Jersey? The beaches are great and Bruce Springsteen is a legend, but c’mon. It very well could be the bagels.

Maybe we’re biased but it’s basically a fact: no other part of the country has bagels as good as ours — the only other state that comes close is New York. If we’re being honest most places don’t even have bagels, they just have gross chewy rolls imitating our bagels.

So our bagels are the best. But which flavor is the best? There are classics and there are unconventional takes, but there can be only one best flavor. We grabbed bagels from Wonder Bagels in Jersey City and Knot Just Bagels in Woodbridge to put the flavors to the test. Here is NJ.com’s rankings of all the bagel flavors that actually matter.
